Our Story
Where It All Began
You may be wondering how this whole idea of adoption started. A little over a year ago, Jim and I took a Dave Ramsey Financial Peace class with our friends Tom and Lynn from church. In the course, they talked about giving back and one way was through adoption. At that time, Jim and I had been married a little over 3 years. Over the summer of 2011, we researched different possibilities including both domestic and international adoption. After looking at what seemed like endless possibilities we decided upon Ethiopia. Taiwan, China, Haiti, Russia, Columbia were some of the places that we explored. As many of you know, Jim and I met a mission trip to Ecuador just over six years ago. You will need to ask Jim for “his” version of the story” sometime!
